Pastors Eric & Kirsten Kilborn
Let us introduce ourselves by starting with the family as a whole. We are a family of five dedicated to serving the Lord with all our hearts, and are facing family and life challenges just like you. Facing life can be difficult, but we have learned that with God all things are possible, and that we can overcome any trial in His strength and ability! Our family began on May 14, 1994 when Eric and Kirsten were married. Since that time, we have worked together as a family to fulfill the will of God for our lives. We are excited to watch God’s plans and purposes for each of us unfold every day, as we continue to follow Him.

In the modern church today, methods of reaching people have dramatically advanced. While we welcome this new creativity as it fits within “The High Plains,” our message will never change. We hold firmly to helping people find out how they can live this FREE LIFE by teaching them who they are in Christ, how to live by faith, and understanding their authority as a believer.

Here at Free Life it isn't all about what one person can do but about the supply each and every individual brings. Without a team, there would be no game and in the end, no one wins. With an awesome group of people following after God together, there's nothing we can't accomplish for the plans and purposes The Lord has placed in hearts of Pastors Eric and Kirsten Kilborn!
The Family
Eric Kilborn
Growing up in a Christian home, from a young age he knew he was called to ministry. Following high school Eric attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1993 and continued his education at Southwestern Assemblies of God University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Pastoral Studies. He and his wife Kirsten served for many years as volunteers in many different areas of church ministry. All of these areas have added to their knowledge of Pastoral ministry. Pastor Eric has served as a Senior Pastor since 1999, taking on the challenge of pioneering and planting Free Life Church in 2008. Planting churches is at the forefront of his mind and heart; he's always thinking of ways to spread the gospel.
Kirsten Kilborn
Kirsten was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit at a young age. She has always loved the Word of God, and from an early age, looked for ways to “preach the gospel”. Knowing that God was calling her into ministry, Kirsten attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1992, continuing her education at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Kirsten graduated from In Christ International Bible College with a B.A. Degree in Christian Ministry. She has a precious anointing on her life to Pastor alongside Eric, as they strive together to fulfill God's purpose. Kirsten has been involved in teaching and worship for over two decades. However, nothing excites her more than seeing kids discover who they are in Christ.
Cole & Emilie
They both serve under Pastor Eric and Kirsten Kilborn as their Colby church pastors. They reside there doing the work God has for them until He calls them elsewhere.
Cole and Emilie teach ICIBC classes as Cole works and continues his education at a community college. Emilie is a hairstylist and runs her own business.

As parents, your heart's desire is that your kids will always follow closely after the Lord. We are thrilled all of our children love Jesus! We are honored that some of children have chosen to work alongside us in ministry. there is no greater joy than to see your kids step into the plans God has for their lives. We are enjoying the show!
